Saint-Louis en l'Île is a Roman Catholic parish church located at 19 Rue Saint-Louis en l'Île on Île Saint-Louis in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was constructed between 1664 and 1725, and is dedicated to King Louis IX of France, or Saint Louis.

The Île Saint-Louis is a 27-acre island in the Seine River in Paris, France. It's one of two natural islands in the river, the other being the Île de la Cité.

The Île Saint-Louis was originally known as the Île Notre-Dame and was used for grazing cattle, fishing, and drying laundry. 

The island was first merged with the Île de la Cité by King Henri IV to develop a new district. The French aristocracy then commissioned Le Vau to build new mansions on the island.

            Excellent! A really lovely apartment, in a great location. The island is quiet, but has lovely shops (including a bakery for morning croissants), and is within easy walking distance of the lively Marais. Vincent was very helpful, and flexible with checkout times. Highly recommended.
