Stay with children. Fabienne was a wonderful host. The Marais district is the ideal place to stay in Paris. It's far from the crowds, but it's still very cool and charming. Her apartment is a vintage neighborhood in Paris.

Our stay at Fabienne’s was great. Our group was four: my husband and I, plus two teenage daughters. Fabienne welcomed us when we arrived and was very friendly in showing us the place. When we arrived, she had croissants and a bottle of wine for us. She gave recommendations for food shopping, baking and restaurants. The location was perfect for us, but not if you don't like activity. The apartment is on a busy shopping street with many retail stores, and wonderful food stores are within walking distance. One thing to note is that because the apartment is on the first floor, it is noisy with city sounds on the street and the interior courtyard of the building which houses an art gallery with lots of walkways and aisles. This didn't bother us at all, as we are city dwellers and used to the sounds. Also, you need to be very quiet if you arrive late so as not to disturb the sitter but this is likely to be a problem with older apartments in Paris. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return.

Fabienne's apartment is our family's favourite. It is perfectly located on a one-way, low-traffic street, with wonderful restaurants, shops, and museums within walking distance in all directions. The apartment feels typically Parisian - it's in a beautiful building, overlooks a beautiful courtyard, and has a perfect mix of modern furnishings and classic architecture. It was very spacious for our family of five: each teenager had their own bedroom, the living room, kitchen, and dining rooms invited long conversations late into the night, and the bathtub in the master bedroom was perfect. We loved the feeling that we had entered the life of a Parisian family, so the owner's belongings in the apartment did not bother us (there was plenty of space for our belongings), but the apartment could not suitable if you prefer more corporate set up like hotels, with no sign of an owner living there.
. Very large apartment, quiet, and such a modern and cool decoration. Fabienne is kind and friendly. The apartment had a top of the line coffee machine which made my husband and I happy. The shower in the main bathroom was excellent, large by Parisian standards. There was also a nice big bathtub. Honestly, I loved this. We moved to a very expensive hotel nearby for the last 2 nights, but would have liked to stay longer in this place. Thank you Fabienne!
Fabienne's house in the Marais made a very special stay for my wife, our three children and me. Fabienne was so welcoming and her home had wonderful functionality and charm. The building is a beautiful classic Parisian style structure from the late 1800s with enormous original windows and hardware. Its kitchen is renovated with a large work surface and a dining area. Its street is in the center of Marais, very lively in the evenings, with fun food stores, cafes, restaurants and the metro at your doorstep or just a few blocks away. Fabienne's kindness and hospitality made us feel welcome.
My brother, my nephews and I had an excellent stay in Fabienne's apartment. This is a true so she normally lives here, which is a bit of an exception these days with many. So don't expect a completely empty house: expect some personal stuff, but it's not cluttered, it's very comfortable and it's a beautiful apartment filled with beautiful art and designer pieces. Fabienne was a fantastic host. I think some photos on the site might be out of date, so it's best to ask the host how many single beds are in each room. Truly an unforgettable stay!
Fabienne's house was magnificent. So charming with art and a look and feel that fit the spirit of Paris. A great place to stay and be in the center of all that Paris has to offer. She was extremely helpful and very responsive and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend and we will stay here again when we return.

What a treat ! This is the ideal Parisian apartment in a chic neighborhood with wonderful shops and restaurants. It made an excellent starting point for touring the city. For a family of 4, it was much nicer than staying in a hotel. We had more than enough space. The kitchen and living room were cozy and fun to hang out in and made our quiet NYE still feel special. Fabienne is an excellent host - very responsive and helpful…follow her recommendations for restaurants and markets!

La maison de Fabienne est incroyablement belle. Il est idéalement situé avec de nombreux magasins, magasins et restaurants à proximité. Super appartement dans le Marais. Bien situé pour marcher dans la ville et accéder au métro. La machine à expresso dans la cuisine était géniale. Le salon était idéal pour se détendre après une longue journée à explorer la ville. La ville est animée, alors préparez-vous à de nombreuses activités. Nous avons trouvé une petite cave à vin et une épicerie à proximité pour les fournitures. Je vous le recommande.

Classic French apartment. Our family loves a big kitchen so this met our needs. Lots of light in the living areas. The area is very walkable with lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby.
Place is lovely. The location is excellent! On a quiet street right in the heart of a great neighborhood. An easy walk to so many great restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartment building has so much character. Really enjoyed it!

It was a wonderful host who went above and beyond. Before our trip she asked us any plans that we had and then made suggestions for us. I had commented that I was looking forward to checking out local bakeries and she sent me a list of 13 different cafe/ bakeries with addresses. The apartment was perfect for my family of 6. Close to shopping, eating and metro. We would love to stay again and would highly recommend.
