Both Danton and Marat lived on this street, their lives now embedded in history. Le Procope, Paris’ first restaurant, which opened in 1686, is also on this street.

This duplex apartment is located on the top floor of a classified building. You’ll be charmed before you even walk in the door. A perfect pied-à-terre for up to four guests, there’s so much that is easy about the apartment. There’s an elevator, there’s air conditioning, and it’s easy to find a restaurant, or just about anything you want, just a few steps away.

The largest part of the apartment is downstairs with the living room and open kitchen. The sofa bed is "memory-form” and extremely comfortable and there’s a sliding door which separates the living room from the rest of the apartment, if guests decide to use it as a bedroom. Perfect for privacy. There’s also a flat-screen TV for relaxing. On the far side of the living room is the kitchen which has just about everything you’ll need, from a stove top, to a microwave and fridge, as well as all the smaller necessities like a Nespresso maker and kettle. The contemporary white table seats four.
A spiral staircase leads you up the stairs to the bedroom where you’ll find a high-quality queen bed, closet space, and even a platform to stand on so that you can look out the skylight for views of the rooftops. You can even see Notre Dame!
The bathroom is downstairs near the bottom of the stairway. It’s been remodeled and has a bathtub with shower attachment, WC, sink and towel warmer.
